I almost made a really bad mistake. I’m glad I didn’t, but I almost wish I did.
~Pretty Miscellaneous~
Les Mis, Alice, Books, Sword of Truth, and dreams. I live in my mind, feel free to come and join me.
enchantedengland: Well I do not mind Fucked-Up-Today-What-A-Shocking-Surprise-Tumblr publishing my two Queued items immediately since once of them is BOOKS BOOKS FAT AND BEAUTIFUL OLD BOOKS and it is from heartsandpenguins who is one of my favourite people.

Books say: She did this because. Life says: She did this. Books are where things are explained to you; life is where things aren’t. I’m not surprised some people prefer books.

This has been happening a lot as of late. I make coffee, and it tastes great.
For about five seconds.
Then after that, it’s just like… ‘Why did I make that?’
I don’t think I like coffee anymore.

Looking back now, I regret being so childishly obsessed with manga/anime. But when I’m 20, 30, 50, looking back, I know I will never ever regret being obsessed with Les Mis.
What an astonishing thing a book is. It’s a flat object made from a tree with flexible parts on which are imprinted lots of funny dark squiggles. But one glance at it and you’re inside the mind of another person, maybe somebody dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, an author is speaking clearly and silently inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people who never knew each other, citizens of distant epochs. Books break the shackles of time. A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic.

Could we get a LM friending meme going?
I was just talking to Uliis and Djlivliv, and although we’ve all three been popping around the Les Misérables fandom for quite some time, we confessed that we have trouble telling a lot of people apart – especially with the rise of tumblr and all the fans who have come intothe community through it. Unfortunately, tumblr doesn’t really allow for an LJ-style friending meme, but I would really appreciate if people would be willing to reblog whatever they’re comfortable sharing from the following questions so we can all get a better sense of who we are and what we’re about. I’m not trying to gain followers or a bunch of notes or any of that – I just want to know who you are so I can maybe make some interesting new friends! Crossing my fingers that it works.
INTERNET IDENTITIES: feuilllly, formerly amadcollageofideas
FAVORITE LM CHARACTERS: Feuilly, Javert, Jehan, Joly, Grantaire, Gavroche
WHAT I DO IN FANDOM: Not much to be honest :) I had a characters-as-bunnies thing but I gave up on my second drawing (Eponine) because I had no brown crayon. And now I’m writing a novel about Grantaire, which has all of two chapters. I mainly just talk about how awesome Feuilly is.
I’M LOOKING FOR MORE: Fanfics, Feuilly-lovers, and for people to stop arguing all the time.
AGE: 15
LOCATION: USA
I DREAMED A DREAM: that Fantine lived and she and Valjean fell madly in love and raised Cosette together.
This sounds cool… I desperately need friends to talk with about Les Mis. It’s hard to have in depth conversations with people who only know a bit about it.
Internet Identity: classoffreedom, WhimsyAndLu, other things I can’t remember. FreedomLivesOn is another one… (too many accounts for stuff.)
Favourite LM Characters: Thenardier(yes, really), Gavroche, the Bishop… anyone actually. Don’t really dislike a certain character, although I do find some of them a bit mediocre.
What I do in Fandom: A surprisingly little amount, aside from insane amounts of quoting and random posts. No stories or art or anything like that, I feel as if my interpretations couldn’t live up to what the characters/musical overall have become in my mind.
I’m Looking For More: Les Mis in general. I look through the tags etc, but it never is enough. Sad day. OH! More people who can stand my endless rants, and who can rant to me as well. Les Mis buddy, anyone?
Age: going to be 16 in August.
Location: US, much to my displeasure.
I Dreamed A Dream: That everyone would stop arguing over the musical and brick. There is a possibility that one can enjoy both. No more quarreling, loves, the Bishop would be awfully disappointed.
